Introduction
Anne began her career at Queen’s University as a media relations officer within the Central Communications portfolio, working with faculty experts to build their media portfolios and writing stories about new research.
Prior to her arrival at the university, Anne spent more than 20 years working at community newspapers – most recently as the Editor of the Gananoque Reporter.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Communications and Marketing, Anne works as part of the team to identify, develop, and implement communications strategies to support and advance the goals and priorities of the Faculty. In doing so, she promotes and supports the Faculty’s senior leadership team, departments, schools, and units, as well as individual faculty, staff, and students, and engages internal and external audiences and stakeholders.
A passionate sports fan, Anne spends her downtime cheering on her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs and Miami Dolphins.
