Empowered to Lead Program
The Empowered to Lead program for current and prospective student leaders is designed to help you develop and practice key leadership skills, broaden your perspective on leadership, and meet like-minded peers. Gender-Based Violence Awareness & Bystander Intervention
This program offers includes four different workshops to choose from to build your awareness and skills in relation to GBV prevention and Bystander Intervention.
Lead, Include, Transform (LIT)
Administered by a trained team of student leaders, LIT Training provides students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to reflect on personal privileges and oppressions and how they show up on campus.
Action, Commitment, Transformation (ACT)
Once you complete LIT, GBV Awareness and Bystander Intervention, and Positive Space training, conclude with a final ACT workshop to receive an official ACT certificate and badge.
The Shift Project
The ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Shift Project events and initiatives are created and facilitated with the goal of centering equity-deserving student experiences, providing opportunities for dialogue around topics outlined in the survey, and acting on next steps towards improving campus culture at Queen’s.
Commitment Scholar Engagement Committee
The Commitment Scholar Engagement Committee is a dedicated group of Commitment Scholars focused on enhancing Indigeneity, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Anti-Racism and Accessibility (I-EDIAA) on campus and in Kingston.
