Annual Meetings of the University Council

Annual General Meeting Dates

The University Council normally holds one annual general meeting (AGM) per year. 

The 2024 University Council AGM format will be as follows: 

  • Formal governance items, such as Council Trustee and standing committee reports, will take place on a weeknight via Zoom in advance of the in-person Kingston sessions. October 1, 2024. ThemeEnhancing University Council Engagement at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥.
  • An in-person meeting in Kingston will take place on the afternoon of October 17, followed by the Distinguished Service Awards and a Council Social, and the morning of October 18. Councillors are reminded that Queen’s Homecoming will take place from October 18 to 20 and that they are welcome to participate in events hosted by various university units.
