SeQure is a mobile safety app developed for the ֱ Community. It provides quick access to Campus Security and Emergency Services resources, including the campus security emergency line, and student government services such as AMS Walkhome.
SeQure provides tips, information and tools to help the ֱ community further enhance their security. By enabling "Push Notifications" you will receive important information regarding campus emergencies, as available.

The Queen’s University SeQure App is your one stop access to all the university’s safety and security information right at your fingertips. SeQure features campus and local emergency response contacts, crisis alerts, walk home information, blue light locations, supports services, and much more.
To receive important information about campus emergencies, ensure “push notifications” are enabled in the app. This can be done through the ֱ/Preferences menu in the app by selecting “Enable Notifications” in the Push Notifications Menu.
If you already have the SeQure app downloaded on your phone, open it to make sure you have the most recent version installed. The need to update will appear at the bottom of the screen or you can check this in the ֱ/Preferences section in the app.

App features
SeQure features include:
- Emergency Contacts: Contact the correct services for the Queen’s University area in case of an emergency or a non-emergency concern
- AMS Walkhome: This is a free service provided by the Alma Mater Society that provides the user with a team of one male and one female who will walk with the user to their destination.
- SafeWalk: Similar to the AMS Walkhome Service, but operated by Campus Security and Emergency Services when Walkhome is not available.
- Friend Walk: Use the app to send your location to a friend or family member as you walk, they can follow your progress and alert emergency services if required.
- Tip Reporting: Multiple ways to report a safety/security concern directly to Queen’s University security.
- Safety notifications: Receive instant notifications and instructions from campus safety when on-campus emergencies occur.
- Crime Mapping: View recent crimes that have occured on and near campus.
- WorkAlone: Use the app to "check in" with you periodically while working alone or during late hours. If you don't respond, the app will alert Campus Security.
- Campus safety resources: maps of campus, map of Emergency Phone locations, and emergency planning documents

- Accessibility notifications: get push notifications regarding accessibility issues on campus
