It Takes All of Us is an online learning program developed by KnowledgeOne and the Queen’s Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Service. Completing this program demonstrates a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive living and learning environment for everyone at Queen’s University. The following topics are reviewed in the program:
- Sexual violence
- Sexual consent
- Bystander intervention
- Supporting survivors
The employee version includes additional content related to faculty and staff concerns including roles and responsibilities when interacting with students. The program addresses a topic that may be uncomfortable for individuals who have experienced sexual violence. If some of the content is difficult to review, you can skip various modules. You can also contact the Sexual Violence and Prevention Response Office if you require assistance with the content.
Undergraduate and Graduate Students should complete the student version of the learning program. For some students, completion of this version of the learning program is required. Graduate students who are also employees of the University may be required to complete the employee version as well. There is an option to opt-out of the student version, if necessary for personal reasons. If you want to opt-out of please complete the short survey which will allow us to record your request.
All employees must complete the employee version of the program, i.e., Faculty, Staff, Postdoctoral Fellows and any student who is also an employee of the University (e.g., Graduate Research Assistants, T.A., Teaching Fellow). There is an option to opt-out, if necessary for personal reasons. If you want to opt-out please complete the short survey which allows accurate recording of exemptions from mandatory completion.
