Kingston
The beautiful city of Kingston surrounds the University’s diverse and inclusive campus. Kingston, located in eastern Ontario, is close to three major cities (Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal) and is also a perfect city to enjoy Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence River (Thousand Islands), and the Rideau Canal (a UNESCO designated World Heritage site). With plenty of restaurants, museums, galleries, performance venues, music festivals, green spaces and historical sites, the city is rich in culture with plenty to see and do. Kingston is ideal for graduate students and postdocs with families with resources for you and your loved ones. Queen’s own Agnes Etherington Art Centre and Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts demonstrate the University’s commitment to the arts and offer programs for families.
