Students in the Screen Cultures and Curatorial Studies graduate program at Queen’s University receive financial support from the Department of Film and Media. Full-time MA students will receive a minimum funding package of $18,000.00 and PhD students will receive a minimum of $24,000 per year.* This financial support is derived by a combination of internal and external graduate awards and teaching assistantships. Students are encouraged to apply for external funding as well. Please see the list of external funding below.
Note: Queen’s will automatically issue a $5,000 award to incoming MA and $7500 to incoming PhD students who have won federal government tri-council awards. For more information, see the School of Graduate Studies and Post-Doctoral Affairs information on awards and bursaries.
