Sam Fraser

Biography

Sam Fraser is a first-year PhD student working under the supervision of Dr. Leslie Ritchie. His research concerns the construction of identity in Anglo-American piracy narratives, from the long eighteenth century to the modern day. Outside of his scholarly work, Sam is an independent author of speculative fiction. His short stories and poetry have been published by numerous small presses, and he has also self-published two novels.
