Joanne Page—A Brief Biography
This digital gallery celebrates the life, legacy, and artistry of the late poet and painter Joanne Page. A tireless contributor to the Kingston artistic community, Joanne was known for her creation of both visual and literary art, and for her support of artists. Since 2011, Joanne Page, her partner Steve Page, and their family have supported the English Department’s annual Page Lecture which brings renowned Canadian writers to Queen’s to reflect on artistic craft through the evocative prompt of “the page.” This gallery, built in collaboration with the Page family, honours Joanne’s artistic gifts.
