Application Deadlines

Admissions are accepted on a rolling basis until the program has reached capacity. The final cut-off for applications is June 1st.

In order to be considered for some Queen’s funding assistance or OGS scholarships, applicants must apply by March 1st of the year for which they hope to begin the program.

  • 4-year bachelor’s honour degree in any discipline. Equivalency may be considered for applicants who have a 3-year degree and post-degree studies (or CEGEP) that meet the honour degree credit requirements, and the academic standing requisite. 
  • Minimum upper second-class standing (B+/GPA 3.3/77%) over each of the last two years of study
  • Demonstrated evidence of strong academic potential
  • IMPORTANT: applicants who have completed their undergraduate degree from a post-secondary institution outside of Canada are required to submit GRE (General) or GMAT scores with their application.  We are unable to comment on the competitiveness of scores as this depends on the annual pool of applicants.

  • Completed application form to the School of Graduate Studies
  • Academic transcripts (Applicants who are currently studying in another program should wait to send in their transcripts so that Fall marks are included in the transcript)
  • Two academic references
  • For applicants whose native languages do not include English, satisfactory standing in an English Language Proficiency Test is required. For more information, refer to Step 4 on the School of Graduate Studies website.
  • GRE scores, if applicable (see Eligibility Requirements above)

**Full-time students beginning their program summer term will be assessed $132.32 in ancillary fees.
