A Celebration of the history of work, and the journey to the present day world of work.
Queen’s University has a long and proud tradition of educating many of Canada’s leading Human Resources and Industrial Relations professionals. Our Employment Relations academics have been researching the world of work for over 50 years.
Since the first Master of Industrial Relations (MIR) class in 1983, Queen’s Alumni have gone on to make enormous contributions to the quality of work life and productivity of Canadian workplaces.
This exhibit is presented in celebration of research, teaching, scholarly work, and contributions to public policy development in the field of Employment Relations.
The EMPR program wishes to express our gratitude to the CIRHR at the University of Toronto for their generosity in collaborating and sharing this exhibit with Queen’s.
