The ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ SNO+ Group is in the Department of Physics, Engineering Physics & Astronomy at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ in Kingston, Ontario. The SNO+ Experiment is affiliated with the Arthur B. McDonald Canadian Astroparticle Physics Research Institute.
SNO+ is a neutrino detector located 2-km underground at the SNOLAB science facility near Sudbury, Ontario, SNO+ is a versatile kilotonne-scale liquid scintillator detector and the successor to the Nobel Prize-winning SNO experiment. The SNO+ Experiment has an extensive scientific programme, but primarily concentrates on neutrino physics - in particular, the search for neutrinoless double beta decay.
Members of the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ SNO+ Group are involved in all aspects of the experiment ranging from data collection, physics analyses, calibration source design and deployment to the chemistry of tellurium-loaded liquid scintillator. Ongoing activities include commissioning and operations of the SNO+ detector and associated process systems infrastructure.
Our Motto: Fight 'til the beta beta end.
