Biography

Danielle LaGrone graduated with her BAH in religion at Queen’s in 2000, before completing her Master’s degree at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton. Having spent five years working on her PhD at the Centre for the Study of Religion at the University of Toronto (ABD), she took a break to pursue studies in midwifery, where she still pursues research in religion and birth.

Research

Her scholarly interests include critical theory of religion, gender, and Buddhism and her publications include co-editing a four-volume collection of essays on women and religion.
