Declaration of commitment to address systemic racism
In August 2020, Principal Patrick Deane set forth the university’s commitment to address systemic racism as it exists within the institution. Co-signed by more than twenty of Queen’s senior leaders, the Declaration of Commitment to Address Systemic Racism acknowledged the need for the campus community to understand and confront structural prejudices, pledging to undertake a range of actions.
