Queen's 2015 Nobel Prize in PhysicsSeptember 2024 brought new programing to the department. Tai Withers, Jon Clarke and Melissa Diamond volunteered to design and host a "New-Teaching Assistant (TA)" workshop for our incoming TAs before courses started. This event was held on Wednesday September 4th and served 16 attendees. Throughout the day they practiced grading, role played one-on-one student interactions, and held a Question-and-Answer period between the new and experienced TAs.
