Queen's 2015 Nobel Prize in PhysicsOur department hires an average of 25 students every summer to participate in a wide variety of research projects as well as activities that enhance teaching in the department. In addition, our department sometimes also offers part-time positions during the school year. Employment within the department is an excellent way for students to enhance their education, put to practice skills that they have learned in their courses, as well as gain valuable relevant professional experience.

Summer NSERC USRA
Every summer, our department hires approximately 6 students that are supported by an NSERC Undergraduate Student Research Award. These prestigious awards are merit-based and recipients are selected by a committee in the department. Students from both ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and other institutions are encourage to apply.
