Science Rendezvous Kingston returned to Slush Puppie Place on May 11th, 2024. The event was a huge success, with 5201 visitors interacting with 60 booths and 480 volunteers. Over 500 people came through the doors in the first 11 minutes and the crowds continued to the end. For more about the event see the articles in the and the Queen’s Gazette.
The Department of Physics, Engineering Physics, and Astronomy, along with our partners at , the, and the , was once again one of the major contributors to the event, with more than 35 physics students, staff, and faculty contributing their time and their talents to present an engaging set of activities designed to highlight the fascination of science.
