On the evening of Friday, September 6, Queen’s University held a vibrant gathering in Stockholm, Sweden. The event brought together members of the Queen’s community from across Sweden.
The gathering was hosted by several distinguished Queen’s representatives, including Dr. Patrick Deane, Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Sandra den Otter, Vice-Provost, Global Engagement, and Dr. Betsy Donald, Associate Vice-Principal, Research. Queen’s delegates were in Sweden as part of the annual gathering of the Matariki Network of Universities.
Attendees had the opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, Queen’s partners, and their alma mater. The event highlighted Queen’s ongoing achievements, such as its continued success in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings and the implementation of the Global Engagement Strategic Plan.
A warm thank you goes to the Queen’s Sweden Alumni Branch who played a pivotal role in organizing the event. Queen’s University is excited to engage the knowledge, experience, and networks of our global alumni community.
