Ban Righ Centre
The Ban Righ Centre provides financial and advising services for mothers and other women returning to their studies, including undergraduate, graduate, professional, domestic, immigrant and international women students. These students bring with them a myriad of skills and experiences that support their success and contribute to a vibrant and diverse intellectual community.
April 27, 2019: The Ban Righ Foundation celebrated the achievements of mature women students at the annual Spring Celebration. Tanzina Tahereen accepts the Marian Catherine Webb Bursary.
¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Summer Camps
¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ offers spring and summer camps for children of all ages. From sports to geography, art, and eco-adventures, there is something for everyone. See the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Camps webpage for more information.
Elementary & High School Students
Queen’s academic enrichment courses, workshops, and activities allow elementary and high school students to explore their interests in a university environment. Students can chose from a variety of programs, including , the Youth Entrepreneurship and Innovation, , and much more.
Recreation Activities
The ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Athletics & Recreation Centre (ARC) offers state-of-the-art workout facilities, a pool, squash courts, and gyms. The centre also provides a wide variety of casual recreation opportunities and family activities.

Family Spaces
There are a variety of resources (such as baby change tables and breastfeeding spaces) available both on ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ campus and in the surrounding Kingston community. Find more .

Housing
Student families and couples are given priority for housing options in An Clachan and John Orr Tower.
- The is a series of 19 low-rise apartment buildings (no elevator service) with spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, and surrounded by courtyards and a playground.
- is a 16-story apartment building with one-bedroom apartments, mainly populated by student couples and single students.
Queen’s Day Care
¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Day Care Centre, an external service provider, offers childcare that is responsive to the needs of families within the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ community.
Employee Childcare Support Plan
The Childcare Support Plan provides reimbursement for eligible daycare expenses to ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ faculty and staff with dependent children under the age of seven. In addition, some childcare support plans provide reimbursement for eligible expenses for dependent children between the ages of seven and up to the end of the month in which they turn 12.
Tuition Support Plan
The Tuition Support Plan provides post-secondary tuition support for dependants (children under 25) and spouses or partners of eligible ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ faculty and staff. Attendance at institutions outside Canada are evaluated individually based on accreditations and the tuition plan for the employee group.
