Queen's Student Experiences Survey

The results of the 2021 Student Experiences Survey inspired the the Queen’s Shift Project, a collection of events and initiatives aimed at centering equity-deserving student experiences, providing opportunities for dialogue around topics outlined in the survey, and acting on next steps towards improving campus culture at Queen’s.

The Queen’s Shift Project events and initiatives are open to all students looking to be a part of the shift towards a safer and more inclusive student experience for all.

The ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ campus climate survey has been renamed the Shift Survey. Students received an invitation to complete the survey in January 2023.

A note to readers

This report reviews Queen’s students’ experiences and perceptions of campus safety, incidents of exclusion, harassment, racism and sexual violence. 

These are difficult topics. If you feel overwhelmed at any point while reading this document or reflecting on the topics of this report, pay attention to your needs. There are resources to support you.
