I am an M.A. student researching the Loyalist Diaspora of the American Revolution under the supervision of Professor J. Errington. My interest in the Loyalists emerged during my undergrad while studying the history of slavery and antislavery movements in North America, where I explored the loyalists role in the politics of slavery in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

My research will examine the extent to which loyalist networks across North America influenced the formative years of Upper Canada.
