I am a fourth-year PhD candidate at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ broadly interested in the history of fascism. More specifically, my research centres on the transnational dimensions of fascism as an ideology that won wide support and rhetorical purchase in the worldwide political environment of the interwar period, and also one whose supporters frequently worked to cultivate a sense of international solidarity. My dissertation, supervised by Amitava Chowdhury, looks at the movement of both domestic and foreign ultranationalists in Britain during the interwar period, with a particular emphasis on the use of British state surveillance archives that monitored far-right activities in Britain.
