Ever since I was little, I've been fascinated by how they world we live in influences the art and stories we create. The types of stories we tell today are very different from those told in the past and we see the stories of the past in a completely different light than those to which they were contemporary. I've always been fascinated in the trends in storytelling and how they shift alongside major events. Perhaps things like popular literature or old television shows don't hold significance to the grand narratives of wars and rulers, but they do shed some light on the people who lived in a world shaped by those narratives.

Outside of history, I love to read in my free time (a shock, I know), play board games and video games, and craft.
