My main historical interests lie in the portrayal of Canada as a relationship with global cultural and economic institutions. Specifically, I am interested in the different perspectives Canadian institutions took during the 20th century when trading with European, American, and Asian states as the frequency of these products fluctuated due to the changing global landscape, and how this changed Canadian life. How was Canadian culture changed, and how did this differ to the effects of other outside cultures when converging within Canada? These questions lie at the heart of my studies.
