William McCready

¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥

William McCready is a medievalist,  whose work has focused on intellectual and ecclesiastical history.  Major publications include The Theory of Papal Monarchy in the Fourteenth Century (1982); Signs of Sanctity: Miracles in the Thought of Gregory the Great(1989); Miracles and the Venerable Bede (1994); and Odiosa sanctitas: St Peter Damian, Simony, and Reform (2011).  In addition to being formally retired, he has now unofficially retired from academic research and writing in order to pursue other interests.
