Eli Berry

Eli is a first-year MA student in the Department of History under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Woolf. Their research focuses on the role of cheap and disposable print media in shaping popular understandings of medicine and the body in early modern England, with a particular interest in the influences of almanacs and other astrological texts. Their broader research interests include classical reception and translation, parents and children, education, sexuality, and disability during this period. Eli received their BAH in Classics and History with a Specialization in Greek and Latin from Trent University in 2024.
