Dr. Laura Carlson winner of W.J. Barnes Teaching Award

Congratulations to Dr. Laura Carlson for receiving this year’s W.J. Barnes Teaching award for excellence in teaching.This award is presented by the Arts & Science Undergraduate Society and considered by them the highest tribute.

Congratulations to Dr. Ishita Pande and Dr. Marc Epprecht for being among the first recipients of the Queen’s Research Opportunities Funds which was established by the Office of the Vice-Principal (Research) in the fall of 2015. Dr. Pande received $34,772 in research funding for her project entitled “A Global History of Hindu Sexology” and Dr. Epprecht received $20,000 for his project entitled “Matariki Network for African Studies”
