Call for Undergraduate Research Projects in Celebration of Black History Month

In honour of Black History Month, the Department is inviting undergraduate students to share their research into Black histories and cultures in Canada and beyond. If you have addressed Black history or the history of anti-black racism in one of your classes over the past year, we invite you to write a one page description of your project and to submit the description along with the project itself, where applicable, to hist.undergrad@queensu.ca by Friday, January 20 2023.

A variety of project formats will be accepted, including (but not limited to) essays, podcasts, websites, slideshows, etc. The Department will select a number of contributions from students at different levels in the program to be featured on the website. To submit your work, please write a one-page description of your project to submit along with the project itself to hist.undergrad@queensu.ca by the deadlines noted above.
