Awet Weldemichael speaks to the CBC about Eritean Festival Clashes

Awet Weldemichael was interviewed this week by CBC Radio to provide an expert opinion on the ongoing clashes amongst Eritean groups in major Canadian cities and around the world. He described the violence seen in Calgary this past weekend as a "troubling phenomenon for Eritreans and the diaspora and Eritrean Canadians in particular," which reflect a natural progression of protests that have been ongoing for some time.
