Austin Wild Receives Honourary Mention for Article

Congratulations to Austin Wild whose submission based on a HIST 876 paper “Warden & Odlum: Positional Vs. Personal Leadership Power in the Officers of the Canadian Expeditionary Force” was chosen for Honourary Mention in the Journal of Military and Strategic Studies’ 2021 Annual Student Award of Excellence. His manuscript will be published in the next issue of the JMSS. In announcing his award, the editors said: “This year, we received more submissions than expected and you should be very proud of your accomplishment.” The JMSS is published by the University of Calgary’s Centre for Military and Strategic Studies. It is a refereed, multi-disciplinary electronic journal that deals with a wide range of topics related to military, security, and strategic studies (see ).
