On November 29th at the Annual Department Faculty Lecture and Holiday Party two instructors were awarded the Department Teaching Awards.
These awards are determined based on nominations from students who overwhelmed us with their positive comments about numerous instructors and faculty members in our Department.
Steven and Deirdre's nominations stood out in both quantity of nominations and the descriptions students gave about how these instructors had not only educated them on a particular subject, but had also shaped their worldview.
Congratulations again to both Steven and Deirdre. Deirdre was unable to attend our Holiday Party. Dr. Walker is pictured below accepting the award on her behalf.
