This is a thematic course that allows us to explore key moments in 20th century Canada and to critically examine how historians have written about such moments. As we work our way through a wide range of monographs and articles and increase our familiarity with some of the most important fields of 20th-century Canadian historiography, we’ll be discussing key issues, debates, questions, and approaches.
