Congratulations to graduate student, Danielle Fitzgerald, on receiving the 2023 Bolton Award from the Paleontological Division of the Geological Association of Canada (GAC), for Best Student Presentation. 
 
According the GAC website, "The Paleontology Division of the Geological Association of Canada gives an award to acknowledge excellence in paleontological research by a student through their paper presentation at the Canadian Paleontology Conference."
 
Danielle recieved the award for her talk entitled, "Ediacaran Mall Bay Formation, Newfoundland, Canada, and the protracted onset of the Gaskiers glaciation". The co-authors of the talk are Dr. Guy Narbonne, Dr. Peir Pufahl, and Dr. Robert Dalymple.
