Correction: The previous story did not acknowledge the number of staff that have remained on campus throughout the pandemic. The Principal apologizes for this oversight and wants to acknowledge the hard work of all staff. Because of last-minute changes to cookie distribution, a limited number were made available to staff. The hot beverage availability is extended through Friday in an effort to ensure all staff receive a gift of appreciation.

Due to the quickly evolving COVID situation in Kingston, the planned campus-wide distribution of complimentary hot beverages and oversized cookies from Card’s Bakery via campus retail locations to celebrate Staff and Faculty Appreciation Day on Wednesday, Dec. 15 has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date in 2022. Thanks to the help of Lionhearts Inc., Queen’s will redistribute the majority of the perishable holiday treats to non-profit agencies across Kingston who are assisting some of the most in need in our community.
