¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥

From February 19-23, ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ professor emeritus Art McDonald joined Their Excellencies the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, and Mrs. Sharon Johnston as part of the Canadian delegation on a State visit to Sweden. The visit aimed at connecting Canadian parliamentarians and leaders from academia, innovation, trade and civil society with their Swedish counterparts to strengthen ties and promote new opportunities. The visit’s main theme was innovative inclusive and sustainable societies.

Amongst the notable events during the visit were a roundtable with officials from the Karolinska Institute (KI) and the Mats Sundin Fellowship in Developmental Health and a keynote and panel discussion at the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA) on the possibilities for collaboration between Canadian and Swedish researchers.
