Since the start of the pandemic, the university has been obligated by public health measures to postpone all in-person convocation events. This has meant graduates and their families have missed out on what is a capstone moment of the Queen’s educational experience.
As safety restrictions continue to lift across Ontario and the country, Queen’s is planning for in-person convocation events for this year’s graduates as well as for those past classes who have missed out. Dates slated for these events run from Monday, June 20 to Friday, June 24, 2022. All events will take place at the Leon’s Centre in Kingston, Ontario.
To best plan these events, Queen’s is asking all 2020 and 2021 Queen’s alumni to RSVP by completing a survey that will be sent to their Queen’s email accounts. Recipients are asked to complete the survey by March 23. Those who can no longer access their Queen’s email can contact the ITS HelpDesk.
Feedback gained by the survey will assist Queen’s and its city partners to plan for a safe and enjoyable time for all.
More details on these convocation events will be shared as they are confirmed.
