Queen’s United Way campaign tops 70 per cent of its goal

Queen’s staff, faculty, and retirees continue to come together to create the largest workplace campaign in the region.

The Queen's United Way campaign has already raised $326,494, or 72.6 per cent, of the final goal of $450,000.

The Queen’s United Way Campaign Committee has set a fundraising goal of $450,000 for this year’s campaign in support of United Way of Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington.

Thanks to the continued support of staff, faculty and retiree donations the campaign currently total $326,494 or 72.6 per cent of the final goal.

Queen’s donors play a critical role in supporting more than 71,000 individuals in the community through the campaign. These essential funds are critical to supporting programs that help the university advance the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDG) of No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Gender Equality, and Quality and Education in the community.

Queen’s community members can back the United Way through payroll deduction, a one-time gift, credit card, cheque or cash.
