Queen’s University will host Premier Kathleen Wynne today for the final stop of her 10-day tour of several Ontario colleges and universities.
“We’re delighted Premier Wynne is ending her tour with a visit to Queen’s,” says Principal Daniel Woolf. “It’s a wonderful opportunity for Premier Wynne to reminisce about her time here at the university while also discovering the ways in which Queen’s has changed and adapted to support the learning experience of current students.”
After visiting classrooms and campuses across Ontario to connect with students, Premier Wynne (Artsci’77) will participate in a number of events while at her alma mater. Among her activities for the day will be a visit to Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre to speak with students, a return to Chown Hall where she worked as a residence don, and casual conversation with students at Ban Righ Dining Hall during lunch.
The Gazette will have ongoing coverage of Premier Wynne’s visit.
