2015 Nobel Prize Ceremony Livestream

Live from the Stockholm Concert Hall on Dec. 10, watch Dr. Arthur B. McDonald take centre stage as he receives the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics.

Join the Office of the Vice-Principal (Research) and the Department of Physics, Engineering Physics, & Astronomy at 10:15 am for a live streaming of the ceremony in Stirling Hall (64 Bader Lane), Lecture Theatre D.

Light refreshments will be served.

For those unable to attend the viewing, the Nobel Prize Ceremony will be broadcast via live stream on the . Be sure to tune in!


On Wednesday, Queen’s celebrated Dr. McDonald’s remarkable accomplishments with a luncheon at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm. Later in the day, Dr. McDonald visited Norra Real High School, the oldest upper-secondary school in Stockholm. During the visit, Dr. McDonald took part in a special lecture for students along with co-winner Takaaki Kajita of the University of Tokyo.
