Feedback sought on proposed Improper Acts Reporting Policy and Fraud Policy

As Queen’s continues to promote a culture of honesty, transparency, and accountability in all activities, the university is in the process of developing an Improper Acts Reporting Policy to replace its existing Safe Disclosure Policy, and a new Fraud Policy.
The proposed Improper Acts Reporting Policy and Procedures outlines ways for employees to submit reports (including anonymously) regarding alleged improper acts, particularly when employees are concerned about potential reprisals if they report via established channels like the Harassment and Discrimination Policy.
The new Fraud Policy and the Reporting and Response Procedures will ensure the university has the appropriate systems in place to deter, prevent, and detect fraud. The policy will provide a formal process for reporting and investigation and will provide protection to university members from reprisals for reporting such incidents.
Feedback from all members of the Queen’s community regarding either of the draft policies is encouraged and welcome. Feedback can be provided in the following ways:

The feedback period will close on March 31, 2022, at 4 p.m.
