Basketball teams look for wins at home

The ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Gaels are in action on numerous fronts this weekend. Here's a quick look at when and where to catch your Gaels in action.
GAMES OF THE WEEK
Women's Basketball
In their home opening weekend, the No. 8 Gaels (0-1) host Waterloo (0-2) on Friday at 6 pm and Laurier (1-1) on Saturday at 6 pm in the ARC Main Gym. Last weekend the Gaels lost to Lakehead 82-76 in their first OUA regular season game but will look to bounce back with a pair of home wins.
Men's Basketball
The Gaels (0-1) start their home portion of the 2014-15 season this weekend as they host Waterloo (0-2) on Friday at 8 pm and Laurier (1-1) on Saturday at 8 pm in the ARC Main Gym. Last weekend the Gaels lost to Lakehead 54-51 but saw strong performances from Greg Faulkner, who notched a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, and Mike Shoveller who had 12 points.
Women's Volleyball
This Friday the Gaels (3-3) head to Waterloo to play the Warriors (1-6) at 6 pm. Last weekend was a game of threes for ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥, as they beat RMC in three straight sets on Friday and then lost to Ottawa in three straight sets on Sunday. You can see the Gaels take on Waterloo live online at .
Men's Volleyball
On home court this weekend the Gaels (2-3) first host No.8 Guelph Gryphons (6-1) on Saturday at 3 pm followed by a game against the Waterloo Warriors (3-4) on Sunday at 3 pm in the ARC Main Gym. Last weekend the Gaels beat the Warriors in straight sets, 25-15, 25-20 and 25-15.
Men's Hockey
This weekend the Gaels (5-4-0) head to Toronto to take on Ryerson (6-3-1) on Friday at 7:30 pm and Toronto (4-6-0) on Saturday at 7:30pm. The Gaels are coming off a split from last weekend with a tough 1-0 loss to No. 9 Carleton and then a 14-4 blowout win over RMC. You can see the Gaels take on Ryerson live online at .
Women's Hockey
The No. 4 ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Gaels (6-1-2) host the UOIT Ridgebacks (5-3-1) at 7:30 pm at the Memorial Centre this Saturday. Last Saturday ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ suffered their first regulation loss of the season against the No. 8 Gryphons 1-0. However, they got back into the win column, beating the Brock Badgers 4-3 on the road.
