Annual BBQ for Staff and Faculty set for July 11

The annual ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Staff and Faculty Summer BBQ hosted by the Office of the Principal and Vice-Chancellor will take place on Tuesday, July 11, from 11:30 am-1:30 pm at Agnes Benidickson Field (behind Grant Hall). A large tent will be set up in case of rain and new this year, accessibility mats will be in use to provide a smooth and stable surface.
Queen’s Hospitality Services will provide the meal and senior leaders will serve the food. The BBQ will be a zero-waste event with compostable materials and multi-sort recycling and organics bins with visual guides available on-site. All untouched, unconsumed food will be distributed to a local agency for distribution to those in need.
Parking restrictions in surface lots will not be enforced between 11 am and 2 pm on July 11.
Non-perishable food items will be accepted at the event on behalf of the – a confidential food service that supports Queen’s community members experiencing food insecurity.

- Hamburgers with assorted condiments and toppings (gluten-free options available)
- Eggplant Parmesan – vegetarian option (*also offered without breading and/or cheese)
- Coleslaw (gluten-free)
- Pasta Salad
- Dessert: Lemon Raspberry Cake (with streusel topping)
