An open information sharing session on Friday, April 26 at 11 am in room 202 of Robert Sutherland Hall will provide the Queen’s community with an update on the Library and Archives Master Plan (LAMP) project and highlight preliminary planning options under consideration.

the LAMP project team released preliminary planning concepts and drawings for Stauffer and Douglas libraries in order to spark a discussion about the future development of Queen’s libraries and to generate feedback.

“With the preliminary work of the LAMP project team now available, the information session will give everyone at Queen’s the opportunity to learn more about the project, to ask questions about the initial drawings and ideas, and to give us their feedback,” says Martha Whitehead, University Librarian. “The broad participation of the Queen’s community will help the project team as it works toward its final report in June.”

LAMP planning partner CS&P Architects will conduct the information session, providing an overview of the committee's work to date and highlights of the feedback received from the Queen’s community so far. They will also present the preliminary planning concepts and drawings for Stauffer and Douglas libraries.
