Deputy Provost dishes up feast at Four Directions

(University Communications)Deputy Provost Laeeque Daneshmend and Peggy Watkin, Senior Associate, Office of the Provost and Vice-Principal (Academic), were the guest chefs for the feast hosted by Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre (FDASC) on April 16. They prepared keema, a traditional South Asian beef dish, and daal, a lentil dish.
FDASC hosts feast twice a month in order to provide students, staff and faculty with the opportunity to enjoy a home-cooked meal, build community and participate in a time of camaraderie. Everyone in the Queen’s community is welcome to come and join in when the feasts resume in September. FDASC is always looking for guest chefs. Visit the .
