Queen’s alumni, professors, staff and students celebrated Thanksgiving in Shanghai earlier this month with several Canadian government officials, including Minister of Foreign Affairs John Baird (Artsci’92), and several officials from Chinese universities.

Jonathan Kong (Artsci’11), Queen’s Development Officer, who is based in Vancouver, spearheaded the event to bring together alumni and friends, and create connections between those who want to build opportunities for the Queen’s community in China. The event was held at the Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai.
