Meal Plan Basics
- 19 meals per week: Provides access to dining halls and retail locations.
- 200 TAMs for the year: “Trade-in” up to four dining hall meal swipes for TAM swipes per day to build your own combo meal in participating retail locations. TAMs are not additional weekly meals but provide flexibility for you to eat across campus aligned with your busy schedule.
- 145 Flex $: Functions as cash on your student card. Use Flex $ in campus retail locations to purchase beverages, snack food items, and more.
- Auto-enrollment into the GOOD TO GO Reusable Container Initiative: You will automatically be opted into the GOOD TO GO reusable container initiative to help eliminate single-use packaging when dining in retail locations across campus, using a Swap-Eat-Repeat process.
We are committed to offering plant-based options in our foodservice locations. In 2023-2024, 55% of the recipes used in residence dining halls were vegetarian or vegan.
Where to Find Vegetarian/Vegan Options on Campus
- All food locations on campus offer vegetarian and vegan food options.
- If you are pescatarian, sustainable fish and seafood is offered at retail food locations across campus and regularly in our dining halls’ 5 week menu rotation, including daily at the deli.
- Ask Before You Eat. If you need assistance finding options or have questions about the ingredients or meal preparation, speak with a chef or manager who will be happy to assist.

Residence Dining Halls:
- Where soup is offered, a vegetarian option is available. Vegan soup is on rotation.
- Vegan/vegetarian options are available at the build-your-own deli and salad bars.
- Vegan baked goods are offered daily.
- Where burgers are offered, a plant-based offering is available.
- Where stir fry is offered, a tofu alternate is available.
- Ban Righ and Leonard dining halls - Look for the dedicated vegan stations. Additionally, a vegan entrée is offered at the true balance station daily.
- Jean Royce Dining Hall - Vegan entrees are available daily.
- Look for the milk/dairy alternatives fridge in the dining halls where you will find plant-based milk alternatives, vegan yogurt, cheese, and more.
Retail Food Locations:
- Visit the Special Diet Options page for examples of available items. Items may be subject to change.
- Where Build-You-Own options are offered (deli, salad, etc), vegetarian/vegan protein options are available.
- Where soup is offered, a vegetarian option is available. Vegan soup is on rotation.
- Dairy alternative beverages are available for purchase and can be substituted where milk is included in TAM offerings.
- Vegan baked goods are available for purchase and can be substituted where a baked good is included in TAM offerings.
- Select retail locations offer a selection of vegetarian and vegan Fresh TO GO products in our grab and go fridges.
