The university and classrooms are not neutral spaces.

We are all impacted by the world around us. We all bring our various perspectives, lived experiences, and identities to the spaces we inhabit by virtue of who we are. Learning and reflecting about positionality and the way power and privilege manifests is a foundational part of navigating difficult conversations, building and sustaining communities.
