As Associate Director, Learning Environments (Digital & Physical), Rebecca is focused on creating equitable, accessible, and inclusive learning environments. In her role, Rebecca collaborates with faculty and partners across campus to integrate pedagogically robust educational technologies and develop engaging learning spaces.
With over 20 years of experience in educational design, leadership, and technology, Rebecca has dedicated her career to advancing equity, decolonization, and transformative learning. Prior to working at Queen’s, she founded and led The Paradigm Shift Project, an NGO that produced educational documentaries with grassroots changemakers on global social justice issues. At Queen’s, she most recently served as Associate Director of Educational Technologies with Arts and Science Online (ASO).
Currently pursuing a PhD in Health Sciences, Rebecca’s research focuses on interventions in the design of education for transformative justice. She is also an organic permaculture farmer, cultivating alternative economic models for local food security.
