STUDENT EXPERIENCE OFFICE
The Student Development Coordinator works to provide support for student growth and learning across campus. This includes training and development for student leaders across Student Affairs, Clubs, Faculty Societies and ORT. If you're looking to consult on plans for your club, or to host a workshop for your team, the Student Development Coordinator can be contacted at student.experience@queensu.ca.
HUMAN RIGHTS AND EQUITY OFFICE
The HREO aims to support all unique identities as they navigate the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ campus. The Special Projects Officer in the HREO can offer support to individuals or student clubs and groups through consultation and collaboration to assist in the exploration of equity, diversity and inclusivity. If you are involved in a club that advocates for diversity and inclusion and are looking for support, you can contact the Special Projects Officer at equity@queensu.ca.
SEXUAL VIOLENCE AND PREVENTION RESPONSE OFFICE
The Sexual Violence Prevention and Response Service is part of the Human Rights and Equity Office, an independent department on campus. SVPRS is the central point of contact on campus for students impacted by sexual violence and for prevention initiatives. We offer non-emergency support by helping you understand your options, assessing possible next steps and connecting you to services you wish to access. You can reach out to Rebecca at r.rappeport@queensu.ca.
STUDENT CONDUCT OFFICE
We proactively engage students by helping them reflect on their conduct, and providing them with resources and opportunities that will support them in being positive members of the Queen’s and Kingston communities. When cases are received from the Non-Academic Misconduct Intake Office (NAMIO), a Case Manager is assigned. The Case Manager will meet with the students involved to gather information about the incident and ensure sanctions are completed. You can contact the office with any queries at studentconductoffice@queensu.ca.
EXPERIENTAL LEARNING HUB
The Experiential Learning Hub is made up of a dedicated team of professionals committed to promoting and coordinating experiential education across the Queen’s community. If you are looking to enhance learning and skill-building for club members then you can reach out to the EL Hub at el.hub@queensu.ca.
