Udo Schüklenk, Professor of Philosophy and Ontario Research Chair in Bioethics, was interviewed on about when it is appropriate to require people to disclose their COVID-19 vaccination status. Click the button below to listen. The interview starts at 2min30sec.
Udo has been an important voice during the pandemic, sharing his expertise in the media (see, for example, the articles of Jan 15, 2021, and Apr 15, 2020), and serving on the federal government's COVID-19 Testing and Screening Expert Advisory Panel. His most recent paper (with Alberto Giubilini, Francesca Minerva, and Julian Savulescu), , published in Public Health Ethics, argues that “religious or personal moral objections to vaccine research are unethical and irresponsible, and in an important sense often irrational”.
